THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

Elatia went to the doctor on Tuesday Feb 15th. The doctor told her that she is 1 centimeter dilated and 50%-60% effaced. It won't be long now! The doctor also said her cervix is short, which is really good too. I know, talking about cervix's might be a little gross, but it is what it is, and it's part of the process of birth, and birth can be a little gross for some people. Hearing all of this, for me, is exciting news! Elatia's body is getting ready to deliver my granddaughter! *happy dance!*

On Facebook and at work, people are putting in the bets when the baby will arrive. I said I don't care as long as it's NOT on Feb 22! The day of our book launch. We're getting so excited again realizing Kaliana is really gonna be here soon! It's still a bit surreal. We all have so much to do still. ELatia and J.R. are in the process of moving, we have our book launch, and we still have to get her room ready at our house.

I think a cool date, besides 2/22, is 3/3. I'm also looking forward to seeing what her time of birth will be. Martin has made me interested in numbers now, but not to the extent that he is. Martin is a numbers savant! It's only a matter of time now before all of our wondering and questions will be answered! WooHoo!
